55th Reunion FAQ

As the 55th Reunion approaches, this page will answer frequently asked questions to help you make travel plans.

How do I Sign Up—and When?

Online registration is now open through your HarvardKey account. Once you are logged into your account, mouse over the “College” tab and click on “Reunions”. Scroll down the page until you see our reunion and click on our class name.


A block of rooms at the special rate of $321 per night has been reserved at the following hotel:

When Do the Events Begin and End?

The reunion will begin on the evening of Monday May 27 with a reception. Things will wrap up after Commencement on Thursday, May 30.

Disabilities and Certain Medical Concerns

Harvard University encourages persons with disabilities to participate in its programs and activities. On Commencement Day, wheelchair runner assistance is provided from the gate to the guest’s seat in Tercentenary Theatre. If wheelchair rental is needed during Reunion and you are unable to bring your own, the HAA can provide you with a list of recommended vendors. If you anticipate needing any type of accommodation or have questions about the physical access provided, please let us know on your registration form. If you have questions, please call the College Alumni Programs office at 617-496-7001.

To help make reunion attendance possible for those with disabilities or certain medical conditions, accommodations and services can be provided to those who make requests by 5:00 pm, May 1. College Alumni Programs, in collaboration with University Disability Services, will make every effort to effectively accommodate the needs of alumni. In order to ensure timely accommodations, advanced planning is strongly encouraged. A la Carte or Full Package?

You may pick and choose which events you’d like to attend. There is a discount if you buy a full package that grants you entry to all Reunion events. The schedule will be posted on the website and updated as needed.

Will Tickets Be Available at the Door?

Walk-in attendees are on a space-available basis. To be sure you’ll have a spot, buy in advance!

Can Only Members of 1964 Attend?

Guests are welcome, as are alumni friends of the class celebrating reunion from other years. Anyone with a Harvard Key can register for Reunion events online. Guests who are not affiliated with Harvard should be added to the registration form of the class member with whom they are attending.

I'm Attending With Another Member of Our Class and Want Our Materials to Be Together. What Should We Do?

If both members of a couple are a member of the class of 1964, we recommend you register separately and let HAA know you would to link your information.

I Want to Come to the Reunion, But If I Buy Tickets Now and My Plans Change, Will I Be Able to Get a Refund?

Refunds requested in writing (email is preferred to 55thReunion_HAA@Harvard.edu) by the May 1 deadline will be granted. Following the May 1 deadline, we won’t be able to refund cancelled orders.


Complimentary parking is available on campus at the 52 Oxford Street garage. When you arrive at the garage, tell the attendant you're here for Reunions.

Dietary Restrictions

There will be vegetarian options at all Reunion events. If you have a further dietary restriction, please indicate this on the registration form when you register and we'll work to provide alternative meals.
